Has any one ever swapped a d16a1? Will it bolt to any d-series tranny? being that its a dohc motor, but its a d-series, will the head fit on a d15b7 or like a d16a6? just wondering, wanting to do something different... thanks

 

they made those from 86-89. so im assuming the 88-89 are d trans.

with the head, no it wont fit on the newer d blocks.

its like a dohc zc.




but i dont think you wanna use that motor. 118 hp 103tq.
