I was cleaning up my engine bay when I noticed that air sensor connected to my intake was not really connected. Hopefully the pics work. Never posted pics before.

Is this suppose to be like this? Because it does'nt look like it should be like that. I tried connecting it but I did'nt want to force it.
Any help will be appreciated.

You need to losen the clamp and try to push it down over the bung, then tighten. I'd be more worried about unflitered air entering the intake than the performance you might be losing.
I was not aware that the IAT was in the tube on an ITR. Good luck!

what kind of air intake is that?? On my aem, there is a small (inch long?) inlet tube/connector. There was a 1/2" hose provided that went OVER the connector on the air intake, and in turn connected valve cover. On the stock air intake, you put the existing metal tube into the tubing of the intake. Yours looks different. what are you having?

It's a short ram intake, no idea what kind. Got it with the car.
So I need to clamp that sucker down.
Sometimes I would hear a quiet whistle while accelerating maybe this was the cause of that. I was worried about performance because I thought with a leak It might be reading the wrong amount of air entering the intake through that sensor.
Thanks guys. I'll try to fix it and let you guys know.
