I have a 91 accord automatic, which runs tip top as of last night. I was driving on the freeway when all of a sudden, i notice my rpm's going up and down. Then, the sport mode "S" light pops up, flashes and then goes away. I was able to drive back home no prob. Today, i start the car, and the "S" light comes on again, and i can hear clicking coming from the gearbox. So i didn't bother driving it cause i was worried i might screw something up. Why is this happening all of a sudden? What causes this?

another said it was his speed sensor... but from scanning a few, the main relay is to be opened up and visually checked as in that post i linked above
