Default Exhaust and Sway Bar question

I did a search and did not find the answer(s) to my question(s).

I have a 97 LX sedan and installed ST front and rear sway bars and a Apexi WS exhaust. My issue is the piping before the muffler is pretty low. In fact on occasion the piping will scrape on the ground when the car is full with passengers.

1) Has anyone else have this problem?
2) If you did, what did you do to resolve ths problem?
a) Custom piping? (Pics would be helpful)
b) Remove rear ST sway bar and install OEM
front sway bar?

The reason for my post is, I would like to replace my ST springs and Tokico blues for a coil over set-up, so I can lower my LX even more.

Thanks in advance for all replies.

Brandon

The Apexi's have never caused me a problem, and do not interfere with the ST Sway Bars on my SE. It sounds like a few mid-system hangers are missing/broken. replace those; and then loosen the connections and realign it.
They conform to the floor quite well.

Thanks for your replies. I did not replace the exhaust hangers and did not notice if they were bad. The one thing I just thought of is, does Apexi make different versions of the WS exhaust based on whether there is a rear sway bar or not? Because the one I ordered is/was for an LX model which does not have an OEM sway bar. I had forgotten I had an ST sway bar installed before I purchased the Apexi WS exhaust.

Thanks,

Brandon

Thanks for your assistance. When I looked under my LX, it looks like if I replace the hangers, the piping will hit the sway bar. If I can ask a favor, when you have time, can you takes pics of the the area where the rear sway bar is while showing the piping and muffler/can? I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Brandon
