on my ef civic sedan, right under the window there are these black rod things that seem like they are clipped onto the door of the car. the paint on them is chipping and coming off and its like chrome under it and looks ugly, is it possible you can take them off and put them back on without messing them up?

 

I always have to get a few new clips some will be ok but not all.

 

dang that sucks, im hoping they all come off fine and i just repaint them black and clip them back on. is there a certain way to take them off i dont want to just yank them and break something
