i used the above guide to replace an aftermarket rear bumper cover that i put on as a temporary fix after some teenage girl rear ended my *** about a year ago. recently i went to the local jdm warehouse and picked up a mint cw itr rear bumper cover to replace it.

today i put it on. no problems; until i was ready to put the license plate on. there's no holes?? how do i put my license plate on without drilling/fabricating holes?

just wondering if anyone has had this issue. thanks!

 

there should already be holes for your license plate, but you will also need the clips that go in between so you can use a screw. If yours doesn't have any holes, then maybe your bumper is broken at that part. Pics?

 

are the holes for the wider license plates wider?

could have been an edm bumper if those plates bolt up differently. .

i rigged the license plate on using zip ties. the ties i used were the perfect length, and the fitment is very snug, looks perfect. even though zip ties are the best thing ever invented i still understand this is not a permanent solution.

ill try to have pics up soon. theres no holes whatsoever its bare compared to the usdm.

oh yea kyle i know what u mean, its not edm its def jdm. no fog light. got the bumper from nick at elite imports.
