Default Sunroof question

I have a 95 Accord EX and I know the sunroof motor is weak (as are the front windows). Before I replace the motor I was wondering if anyone had any prior experience lubing the tracks to reduce the drag on the motor. Is is very rough and noisy when operating and I usually have to help it along by hand. Any tips are appeciated.

THX

If it sounds gritty, you may have dirt/sand in the tracks. If you do, see if you can chase down anyone with a long snout air gun (Snap-on, Mac etc) and get as much of that ^%&$ blown out as you can. Avoid any lubricants which remain moist (they will make it worst by collecting dirt)

You can gain access to the sunroof mechanism (once you remove the headliner) by removing the drain tray (held on by 10 6x16 bolts). At this point (however) you might as well replace the motor, you're there anyway
