im looking for a cruise control harness.... no one seems to have it so i wanted to go find on in a junk yard....but i havent had much luck. anyone know of any yards around here?

 

They are a rarity and if there is a self service they are all old cars!

Otherwise there are a few places in pa but they are 3 hours away and there are no integras there
i been to them all it was a waste of time
all the civics were destroyed no more parts at all

There is a yard here in the DC area that is pretty usefull for stuff like that. They have a ton of civics, much fewer tegs but there were a couple when I was last there.

You know that the cruise control harness is very much integrated into the main chassis harness right? It's not just a simple plug and play thing.

Anyway, I'm out at this yard all the time, I can pull what you need if you give me some specifics.

There are several yards and even one that does imports exclusively very close to Bear Mtn. Don't know if they have what you are looking for but, it would be an educational trip. Walk on I don't think any of them do anymore.

There is one near Flushing, right next to Shea stadium. "Ghetto" is the best term I can think of to describe it.

why don't you check w/ http://www.importautosalvage.com and see if they have it....they do lots of motor swaps and probably have few requests for a cruise harness...

it's a lot of work though, hope you think it's worth it...

Bruce is one sarcastic s.o.b. that's why I like the guy lol. They also sell a lot of stuff on ebay you might be able to find what you need online from them. If you are close they are in hyde park ny just outside poughkeepsie. Also down the road from them is molts auto salvage. They are decent from my personal experience there
