Default 90'-93' turbo headers on a 97'. Possible?

Just a quick question: will the turbo manifold for an F22A fit on an F22B2 engine? Looking at some on eBay, and I've found a few great deals, but I'm not sure if they'll fit my 97' Accord LX or not. Any insight is appreciated

IIRC it won't fit.

The F22B2 exhuast ports are configured like this o-oo-o and the F22As are configured like this o-o-o-o. You may want to ask the seller on Ebay. He may have a log manifold for the B2 as well.

I have to agree with GhostAccord. One has the configuration of a Chevy Smallblock Exhaust manifold o-oo-o and the other a Ford Smallblock o-o-o-o. If you're talking about the baseline vanilla F22 found in DX/LX/SE, a curious thing happened on the way to the forum.
They started out with o-oo-o in the years 90-93

A log manifold? Is that some sort of adapter to adapt them? If so, how much extra space is it gonna add- 'cause there's not much room under there =/

No the term "log" generally refers to the shape of the cast iron turbo manifolds. The one you posted looks like a log. Tubular manifolds look like a header and are built with tube steel vs casting in iron.

Ahh- that makes things a little clearer. I like the tubular style much better (and apparently they ARE better), but could I find that in cast iron? Eventually, the turbo I'm gonna put on my car is gonna be pushing upwards of 20lbs of boost, and I don't want headers that are going to crack. I was told cast iron is the way to go.

yeah I don't know of any equal length tube style cast iron manifolds. The newer tube style made from mild or stainless steel would be more than enough to hold 20psi. You will have to pay for a good one if you want it to last. The cheaper you go the more likely it will be to crack or have bad welds.

Thanks alot for the replies, guys. New to this whole turbo thing, and have been looking around on how to turbo my F22B2. Looking to spend under like $800 to just get the thing on there, and running low boost for the time being. All these places I look say if the motor is in good condition, I could pretty much run 7-9psi safely on stock internals. I want to get headers, though, that will last me up through when I blueprint my motor and pay the green to get the forged rods, forged pistons, blah blah blah. The goal is no higher than 30psi over the course of the car's life. I've seen all kinds of Accords with 500whp on forums and videos, so I know it's possible. I just worry about stainless steel headers because the car is a daily driver too- cold, hot, cold, hot, cold, hot.

What I really want to know.. is when I get the headers, what type of stainless steel is the one I should get for 30lbs of boost? I'll save and pay the extra dollar as long as it's nothing too ridiculous. I know there's like, 321 stainless steel, 304, etc. What's the one I'm looking for? Maybe I should make a new topic? lol.

Go with the cast iron log manifold and have it ported/cleaned up a bit and you should be good to go.

Once again, guys- thanks so much for the feedback. I guess I'm gonna go for the log manifold, then. The only question then, is.. is having the wastegate on one side uneven like it'll be for my F22 gonna be a problem? I read the reviews you posted a link to, Ghost, and they were all about how the log manifold with the wastegate on one side is horrid. Because my setup is the o-oo-o deal, I couldn't find one with the wastegate dead center.
