Just picked up this clean shell, its a 1990 HB dx with a acura 4 wheel disk break conversion and sway bars. I plan on swapping a b18a1 in for now just to get her running, shes already converted to mpfi so just going from there. Ill keep you guys updated!

And no matter what you guys have to say, the body kit is staying on, its a 6 peice urethane kit and looks good to me, although the tail lights and center peice ARE GOING and gettting replaced with stock.










These will be her new shoes once i get her swapped over

 

Body looks nice and straight.. good find.
Obviously don't like the tails.
Never liked those body kits even if it was a real Mugen kit.

 

i dont know why anyone would put down the w/w kit.glad to hear the tail lights are going.and the wheels should look good also.and for god sake lower that crx.

 

yeh i hear ya.. but as u can see i got my stock crx (minus headlights... mine were busted and buddy gave me this setup for free...cant refuse that)... so i figure why not keep the kit.. although whoever painted this car wasnt messing around.. its painted under the kit... door jams... and even engine bay...few dings in some places and i can see ..its sanded clear down.

 

I cant find a good setup for cheap .. untill i do ill have to look at my monster truck

 

nice pick up, the wings west kit is one of the very few that i like on these civics....not too big on the colour, those wheels will look nice though.

Blah, i dont understand the bash i dont care what you like.. this is a tech forum, im here to tell you what im going to be doing to this car. as i posted earlier. Im not much for body kits either, but i like the way this car looks. I mean, look behind it, my TOTALLY stock rex aside from an exhaust and those headlights...

decent looking ride man. tail lights do look funny. but at least your going to right the wrongs with it. it sure will look different too. and who cares what people say about body kits. some do look like ****, and some do look ok. that one looks pretty decent. at least its not busted up and ****. and i dig the color. damn, i just went against just about everyone up there huh? lol. nice ride.

 

Just fix the hood, put your wheels on, switch out the taillights and your golden. Thats the only kit i like for the hatches or then leaving it stock.

Good luck with your build. Youll like the b18a1 in your hatch, that what i have in mine. Runs pretty good for a less expensive swap then other b-series
