There was a TSB out on that code. It's related to the VTC (not VTEC) system for the camshaft phasing.

Check your oil level and add oil if needed. What viscosity of oil are you running? You should only be using 5w-20 or 5w-30.

I'm running 5w-30, the light came on during a hard right turn.

I have an 04 honda accord too and that code just came on for me. Did you ever figure out what the problem was?

This code can sometimes be caused by a fault VTC actuator on the camshaft, but is more often caused by a stretched timing chain and/or damaged tensioner. In that case, the timing chain, chain tensioner, and chain guides will need to be replaced. Damage to the timing chain is usually caused by running the engine low on oil constantly, or using too high of an oil viscosity. If your engine burns oil, you need to be checking the oil level on a regular basis and topping it off as needed.

04' Accord v4, vtec. Intermittent error codes p1009 & p0341?(was told might be the knock sensor?)
As noted above, I did go over my oil buy a few k miles prior to the light coming on. Car runs well but occassionally when idling, either stopper or parked, rpm's will dip and a shake can be felt coinsiding with a whine(?). Engine has stalled 2x now when attempting to accelerate from stopped. When problem is acting up engine seems to idle at a low rpm, under 1000.
