So I put LEDs in my dash / climate control.

I was told I needed to by pass the dimmer by connected the red / black wire together that are on the back of the dimmer plug.

I did, turned everything on and my dash was on for a split second, but my climate control stays on.

i replaced the fuse, first with a 10, then 15, then a 20.

Dash lights still wont come on.

I pulled it back out, and re-wired the two wires together (with a wire nut and some electrical tape)

any ideas?
