will you fail a smog test with a srs light on or when getting it bard

i think if the airbags are unpugged you might pass because its on because its unplugged

air bags dont effect emissions. i dont know why you would fail. if your engine light is on you will fail

What ^^^he^^^ said its a totally different computer. Havent had either air bag in my ek and no issues. Insurance company might not like it to much.

if its on, they wont even bother looking at ANYTHING.

I know it may be a little ghetto but I had my dash panel off so i just opened the gauge cluster and put a piece of electrical tape over the light. I took off the piece that has the the red filter that makes it say srs and underneath it was really easy to tape the light since it is flat. I would recommend doing it, you don't have to mess with removing the diode, you can't see the tape at all and no light shows thru at all. I just hate having a light on my dash all the time that is pointless, and everyone will make stupid comments about it being on

You could also just take the bulb out.
