Default What controls the fast idle on DPFI?

Lots of threads about FITV on a MPFI setup. I can't find what controls the startup idle on DPFI since there is no FITV.

Problem, I do not have a fast idle on start up. I have to hold my RPM's at 2k on cold starts or the car will die. It will not idle until it gets a tiny bit of warmth. I know the car should hold it high and back it down as it warms up. Mine will not do that.

I have taken off the IACV and hosed it out with carb cleaner. The car idles well when warm.

Any CPU codes?
Bleed the cooling system.
Try a different IACV.

No codes. I guess I'll dig up another IACV.
