Default 1993 Civic Hatch... need some opinions and suggestions..

hey, I'm new to this forum. I was just looking for a little help with a Customers car. We usually deal with Chassis Fabrication, Roll bars/cages, Custom turbo headers, Intercoolers, etc.. A lot of what we deal with is Domestic V8 cars... so, thought it might be a better idea to get some input from people who know a thing or two about Hondas rather than figure it out on our own.

anyways, I was wondering what you would run for brakes and suspension if a budget wasnt a factor.

basically... the best you can get. The owner of the car plans on some street driving and I think he wants to get into AutoX and prob some road racing.

he mentioned liking Tein. but if that's not the best choice, any other suggestion would be appreciated.

I believe he is planning a K20 swap and looking to make 240whp N/A.

these questions is usually biased from everyone. tein is great for suspension and Brembo is amazing with the brakes IMO but you cant go wrong with skunk 2 products as well. if you want to ask the auto x people and other racers, go to the racing/auto cross forum in the next section and check out the faqs at the top of that forum.

Thanks for the help.

I personally drive an 04 STi, and I have no complaints with the factory Brembo Brakes, so, thats def. an option.

well is his hatch and Si? if not, do a rear disk brake conversion. that will be a big UP.
as for suspension, i would say eibach shocks and coil overs
kinda like what this guy is doing. with the blue hatch.

No, it's not an Si.

It's def getting rear discs.

More specifically... looking for a aftermarket full brake kit. like Brembo, Baer... etc.

any links anyone knows of to companies that offer complete kits would be great.
