Icon6 89 civic hatch si(d16y8,obd2 wiring, and computer)!!!

So yeah I just put a d16y7 with y8 head on it in my ef9. So we hooked it all up and it started and all that good stuff. My ? is why hasn't anyone done this? As in putting an obd2 wiring harness and computer in an obd0 car? If so are there any problems I am going to come across. I guess whatever plugs I need I will take off my obd0 plugs and de and repin them.

why would you go through the effort of depinning and trying to make an obd2 harness work. it would be approximately a buhgillion times easier to use the stock harness.
