since we are on the defi guages i have a few questions.
how do they wire up? are they like the autometer guages where the gauge has five inputs in needs or are they like the greddy gauge (let's use the oil pressure gauge for example) that has a wire that runs to its sender unit and plugs right in.
thanks.

I use the old white faced ones with a Type II controller. Greddy just released a gauge set that is made by Defi!
How do they wire up? All sensors/senders connect to the control unit while only one gauge connects to control unit and the other gauges are daisy chained to it!

i have the defi black guages they look like the stock guages so my car looks like it was made with them in there.. Only problem i have had was that my oil pressure guage broke due to a faulty sending unit
does each gauge require power, gnd, ignition and illumination?
or does the control unit receive those signals and send it out with the meter wire?

the control unit is tapped into constant, ign, illumination, and ground. guages are then linked together with one of them plugged into the control unit .. easiet guages to set up ever
