preludes are different when it comes to obd1 and obd2, honda wanted to be cool and press the issue and they kept making obd1 cars until the end.

ECU Types and Numbers
P13 : 93-95 OBD-1 Prelude Vtec
P14 : 93-95 OBD-1 Prelude Si (non Vtec)
P5P : 97-00 OBD-2 Prelude Type-S (JDM ECU)

notice how 1996 is missing? my h22a is out of a 96 lude and its obd1.

but... you mentioned accord? what motor do you have?

if you have the money for a harness... you should save up and spend some bucks on an h22, do the wiring then drop the motor.

96 lude no matter what trim is obd2....

BTW:if you need a 96 si harness or anything off of a white 96 si with black interior , there is one at a salvage yard pretty close and i might be able to get it for you
