i wouldnt wax you car for 90 days. i just painted my car Friday after noon (sunlight yello w/ sun gold flake looks badass will post pics soon) but my teacher swears not to wax a car for 90 days. For wax i like mcguiers or how ever the hell you spell it.

Yup, ya needa wait at least one month. But not to worry, the paint is giving off excess stuff like the chemicals that carry the pigment. So don't block the process with wax. Let it go for one, or two, or three months.

Use the best wax you have confidence in. Meguire's or Mother's come to mind.

No worries, i can wait an extra month or two. I want to do it right and get the most out of the paint. Ive been dry washing my car with water. Can i use any car soap or should i just stick to dry washing until my first wax?

If it's not baked on and has to cure naturally, I'd wait at least 90 days.
