Traveling Abroad
Hey Y'all
I'll be heading to Spain for three weeks, and due to this my car will be sitting outside in the cold NY weather and snow for the entire time. Is there anything I should do to my beloved civic before leaving? Thanks

thats nothing, i wouldnt even worry about having a full tank to be honest, as long as theres enough so the gas light isnt on. make sure you leave nothing in the car and give those thieves no reason to even look in your car, lock the doors and enjoy your 3 weeks in spain.
it gets much colder here in newfoundland than it does in new york and i've had my car parked for over a month last winter, only thing i had to do was shovel all the snow off the car and around it.
put the key in and it started fine, let it run for a while before i moved it to let everything warm up.

Sweet deal man, thanks! I go to a culinary school, and we're headed there for three weeks as part of a food and wine seminar, between junior and senior years of college. We travel all over.
Thanks for the input, this is the first time I've left the car for more than a week up here not running, and you're right, digging it out of the snow when I get back is going to be a BITCH, haha
