extended o2 sensor

Default extended o2 sensor

ok i have a d16a6 with a dc 4-1 header. anyway the o2 bung on this header is located at the collector since its for a z6. can i extend my 1 wire o2 sensor to reach the bung at the collector without it triggering a cel.

the stock 1 wire sensor will reach you dont have to extend it, just cut back the tape on the harness where it plugs in and pull the connector till it is near the back of the motor and it will reach. you wont get a code but it will run like crap because the o2 does not get hot enough back there and will not function properly

crap i dont need it to run like **** cause i need to pass my smog test.

Does converting it over to a heated 4-wire O2 help fix this? I am always looking for new ways to spend money on my idle quality.
