Which Fuel Management system do most guys over 450whp run?
I am just wondering.. Was curious what is best for large amounts of power.. I know hondata is wonderful because its user friendly, and AEM is all the new fad. I think someone should start a post like Rockets Clutch 101 listing all the stand alones and the pro's and con's of each.. That would RAWK my SOCKS!!
basically if you do a long extensive search you should find all the info youll ever need on the AEM EMS and the hondata. other stand alones are the EFI PMS, speedpro, haltech... theres a list to get things started, you guys take it from there because its time for bed.
honestly, there is no inherent limitation to any system that I've discovered thus far that would limit output of the motor. Just choose the system that your tuner is most comfortable tuning, and that will be your best choice by far.

Well if that was the case I would run an Electromotive Tec 3 on my car but I have NEVER heard of a honda having good luck with it..

Alot of guys here at the shop are DIE HARD DSM guys.. I am the only honda lover
.. The Tec systems love the DSM's and everytime I turn around I hear "Put a Tec on that thing"
Being that I have never heard of it working well with Honda I dont want to use it but my tuners arent very familiar with AEM and I dont trust hondata for 450-550whp.

damon did myles way backi nthe day use a tec II on this b16a crx he had some good succes back then idont see why the tec would not be sufficient
I'm running Hondata on my street car. Granted, I'm not at 450 yet, I'm at 422, but thats due to my small intercooler being inefficient now. I would trust my Hondata at higher horsepower levels, and its been running great. I have no complaints.
Is your cousin kenny?
He's the one that bought rear suspension from you guys. He's runnin a prelude/methanol set up in his race car. I think he's debuting his car at Import Expo 3.
