Enkei ekm3 18x8 40 offset in hyper silver this are new to the market and replace the rpm2 -



i still have some bodywork to do then i will be photo shoot ready i will post pics when they are mounted and stuff its still winter out here in NY so there is no point.

What size tires are you installing on those wheels? I want to put 18"x8" with a 245/35/18 but am getting mixed answers on whether or not they will fit. I cant see why they wouldn't. I think they are only .1" taller overall and the tire is only 3 cm wider. I think the stock SI 17" wheel is 7" wide

 

Correction. .2" taller not .1" stock is 24.6 overall diameter with 215 45 17 and 24.8" with 245 35 18

 

They look great. My dream wheels are RPM2s and the ekm3s do a great job of replacing them.

 

Nice looking wheels, too bad they will slow you down and hurt performance.

 

whoa there negative nancy, i think by now just about everybody knows that bigger wheels will slow you down. i don't think he asked about that.

nice rims btw. i think they look a little plain in silver but we'll have to see them on the car first to say for sure.

 

Negative or not, facts are facts. I did say nice wheels. When you post a brag thread on a somewhat public forum what do you expect, for people NOT to post their opinion?

 

they are like 22 pounds which aint bad i doubt that will hurt me much my car is pretty strong so and i should be SC this year.

i plan on running 225/40/18 and i will be dumped on skunk2 pro c coils so i dont think you can go much higher and not rub bad.

in person they aren't like a bright silver they are darker and at night they look even nicer i was also afraid of this.

they only offer hyper silver or gun metal and i wanted a color that was similar to the rfp1 silver and would stand out on my nhbp coupe.

Too fugging bad, bro. You have been on HT a little bit longer than me and you should know that when you post a pic thread on a site such as this, like it or not, people WILL post their opinion whether its asked for or not. This holds especially true on brag threads posted in a TECH forum.

 

Whether he formally asked for opinions or not, he posted a picture of his new wheels on the forum. There is no tech related question in the original post, so it is a brag thread. Being a brag thread automatically invites opinions.
