This is VERY tempting.... I want an S2K steering wheel but this seems like a cheaper route and looks similar minus the red H and the bag being slightly different. This is 100% P&P with a 99 civic correct?

What is the diameter of the steering wheel, from the outer edges from 1 side to the exact opposite side through the center?

The fitting for the 96-00 Civic is exact. No modification is needed to make this wheel slide right in. The SRS airbag plug from this center airbag will have to be sliced, or remove the plug from your stock airbag center and replace it with the plug of the airbag in this wheel. So it can be plug and play. The horn/cruise is plug and play. The diameter is the same as the S2000 AP1 steering wheel, only difference is the design of the leather I have an AP1 right now and I don't notice any difference as far as size and thickness of the grip on both wheels. And yes this one has the red stitching.
