Post Wheel locknuts on OEM?

HI i have a friend that bought some used Honda civic HX rims and he put it on his Honda Del Sol.
He is using "Tuner lugs" on all of the lug nuts, but hes not sure if it will damage the rims.
I had an argument with him that it might affect the seat. I don't really know if it is wise to put it
on since its an OEM rims or is tuner lugs safe or designed to do that?
Will it affect the rims in any way if what would be a good brand for OEM Lock nuts.

What safe wheel locknuts on OEM honda rims

It might not seat right because most tuner lugs are tapered while OEM is acorned.

even if you have a lock on your rims thieves can still get it then can get it with the tools called "lug out". If thieves want it they will get it.

If anything, what locknuts brand would fit the factory rims safley.

You need OEM lock nuts. Honda makes them (or someone else does and Honda puts a label on it).
