ok this may be a little early on since I haven't fully checked the exhaust but it is a lot louder than it was yesterday and when I get above 4.5k rpms it makes a loud hissing sound.
all of the bolts look tight and the noise is coming from the front of the car. I do have a flow-through muffler on the back, but alot of the noise is coming from the down pipe area.
like I said I haven't actually got under the car to check the exhaust since I just got home.
there are no holes and everything is in good shape with no dents.
now the rattle, this also started this morning, it sounds like when you have a half full can of pop sitting on some change in the cup holder. my friend told me it was probably the infamous "2k rattle" from the down pipe as it is from 700 rpm to about 2k rpm.

this just seems odd to me that it would just happen.
and yes my cat-converter is still there

suggestions? need more info?
