Attn: Spoon Sports experts...
Now that I have your attention..
I am about to buy a used set of Spoon Sports non-adjustable yellow shocks. I have never heard of these shocks and would like to any information on them, good or bad. I have a 99 Civic SiR coupe and I assume it's coming off the same car.
First of all, why were they discontinued? Second, is it a universal set for all EK's because EK coupes were not sold in Japan (This only matters because damping is not adjustable) Are there any part numbers I should look for on the shocks themselves. Do they include the spring top perches? Any pics will be very helpful. The seller is asking approx. $400 for them, money better spent elsewhere? I will be using stock ITR springs with them.
Thanks in advance...

Only thing I don't like about Koni yellows - no steps or indents in the adjustment. And the only reason I'd get adjustables is because the shock company doesn't know what kind of springs I have so I'd have to adjust the damping to match.
Yes Spoon/JDM/Mugen is getting played out in some circles but Spoon knows Hondas and I'd have to trust their non-adjustable shock damping.
No hard feelings to anybody, thanks for the input, keep em coming...
