Default B18c5 wiring

I plan on swapping a c5 in with in the next year or so, so basically I need to know what kind of stuff i need to be looking for. I would like to go OBDII, but if I do that I am assuming I will need all the wires to go along with it. Will I also need a new gauge cluster and other electrical components?? If so what gauge cluster should I get and how much should i spend??

Also, how much $$$ would it take to get it in including cost of installation and ALL equipment????

Thanks in advance

If you want to make it easy, you get all the electrical components from a B16A swap and use them on the ITR engine. Yeah you could go all out OBDII, but then you will be spending a lot more money on converting. You could also try OBDI with a pigtail harness, but why not do it the easy way?

OBDII sucks. just do OBDI. You will be much better off. Wiring will not be to tough if you get an Si or HF, with a DX there will be some more work involved

technically sorta teh obd2 plugs are diff i dunno if ur distribuiter will mount up or not and teh fuel maps i imagine are quite different between the gsr and the c5....u could run an obd1 setup easily and run a zydne ecu or something along those lines

Haha.....Nah, i've been here, I just never posted anything. I thought I would take my search to another forum to see if I could get some other answers.

If I were to go OBD I then i can't use the ITR ECU, which to me kinda sux. I want to use the ECU that was designed for the engine because to me I would think it would run optimally with its factory ECU.

OR, will it run equally the same or better by switching to OBD I or non-OBD?
