have a 91 std, and im trying to get some new side mirrors for it. will ones from a CRX fit?

i'm not 100% sure but i think all 88-91 civic mirrors are the same including the crx

 

you might want to look deeper into this cause i installed crx spoon mirrors on my hatch and had to modify the bottom because it hit the trim........

 

so what youre saying is that an ef sedan mirrors will fit on a crx? cause if they do with a little mod, i found power mirrors off an ef sedan for a cheap price.

 

yeah once again i'm NOT 100% sure thought but i'm pretty sure i got my passenger mirror of of a sedan or crx i'll check and see if they have the same part numbers

that's what i found and it just confused the hell out of me

 

I swapped civic and crx mirrors before. They are slightly different, and usually only 2 of the three mounting bolts will work, but it can be done

 

spend 40 bucks on ebay and just get "spoon" mirrors made for YOUR car. they look nicer than the big ugly's on there now.

 

they will work, if you spend 5 minutes with a file or like 10 seconds with a dremel you can enlarge the hole behind the mirror( only like 1/16- 1/8") and the mirror will bolt on fine with all three bolts. 90-93 integra ones will also work as well, same thing the hole must be slotted and the mirror will bolt right on. they might be easier to find in power versions

 

i put power da mirrors on mine and it changed the whole front view of the car and i wired them up with the factory da switch everything fit perfect.

 

spoon knock off mirrors dont fit on 88-91 civics, they only fit crx. i bought a set and sold them because it woulve been a hell of alot of hassle to get them to fit.

 

what do you mean!!!!!all you have to do is redrill the holes on the door side.....whats hard about that?

does it matter if the da is coupe or sedan? and also will the mirror from an acura legend fit the crx? ( those mirrors can be folded)
