Default Brakes on a 90' civic dx

I have to pump my brakes and sometimes pull the e-brake to stop completely.

I just got the car and have been driving like this for two days.

Anyone know the possible problem and how to fix it?

Is the brake pedal soft and squishy? If so, get your brakes properly bled. Either take it to a shop or google it if you feel comfortable doing it yourself.
