Just a heads up for everyone to get their plans prepared. After the fantastic reception of the 2008 event the 11th annual Sport Compact Fall Nationals on october 3 and 4 at Old Bridge Raceway Park will also be featuring the 2nd annual Outlaw Street FWD $10,000 Shootout. The details are still in the beginning stages but OGS, Brian Ballard and the RP staff will be dedicating the next 10 months to make sure this race will be bigger and better than last year.

I want to be an OUTLAW! This year is going to be GREAT for the SC drag racing scene. I see a lot of smaller series' growing, or a chance to create new ones.

I will be particpating this year. Will the classes be like last year SFWD, and Outlaw being the big hitter? What will the buy ins be for the SFWD class? Can't wait this season is great.

Roger, would it be possible/okay to set up the HR race in conjunction to be an outlaw format/payout structure as well?

That's something that I was wondering. Who's to say this couldn't have multiple "outlaw" races. HR, AM, you get the idea....are there enough cars in each category to do this?

I don't see what the big deal is with the second seat. It totally changes the game if you are talkinmg about lexan vs. glass but one drivers seat vs a second empty passenger seat. I don't think should make or break the rules for regualr SFWD. Either way long as my car is running right I plan on being there!!!

 

the only thing bad I can see with Etown is there is always tons on down time do to oil down, and if there are to many class, we will never get it done by the cut off.

you guys are already there that weekend doing your thing. i dont think it would be a bad idea to try to do something along those lines to maybe bring out some hot rod cars from other areas. anything to make the show better may be considered.
