I did a search but found no content really. Any of you guys with the JDM 4-1 clean up the weld on the inside of the primaries? I dont want to Port it to much right near the welds. Just wondering what u guys have done or just leave it alone? JDM 4-1 and SMSP modded Cat go on this weekend. Cant wait!

I did- what I had done was I took the header to my local welder; had him reweld around the outside of the flange- then took a nice carbide bit and an angle grinder and went to town the on the inside. The good bit made short work of it so I highly suggest getting quailty here.

Also; checkout Fastline Performance (see sig for linky )- they have a niiice skidplate for the header that works great!!!

I just left it... I am just lazy and would rather not spend my time to gain 1hp.

 

I have a diesal iron skidplate, Its efficently taken out 2 possums dead on impact. They were unavoidable or else I would have tried to move out the way. Also its been thru VAs most treacherous rds and highways with minimal surface skruffs.
