Pretty sure the OP is referring to the mount that the D-bracket is attached to. I've never seen those before (don't look like Beaks) but I wouldn't trust much of anything short of the ASR rear brace on an EK subframe to prevent a big swaybar from ripping the subframe to shreds.

even with the asr im not sure i would risk using a bar over 20mm for daily driving.

What? I've been using a 22mm ITR bar with a Beaks mount kit on my Integra for daily driving for nearly 6 years now. While the Beaks kit is more than adequate for Integra/EG Civic sub frames, I wouldn't recommend it for EK's. There should be no issues with the ASR brace on an EK, though.

Is the risk you're referring to the risk of tearing the sub frame (pretty much nil when an ASR bar is used), or risk of the car losing control due to the stiffer rear sway bar? If the latter, that's not really a valuable argument as ITR's came stock with that bar, which is a street car. In nearly 6 years of having my ITR rear bar, the rear end of my car has only stepped out once when I didn't want it to, and that was on an autox course. You would at least hope someone who installs a larger rear bar would have enough sense to be careful to maintain control of the car.

The ASR is the best form of reinforcement you can get. If you dont believe me just go and look at one in person. The quality is superior to anything out there, and there hasn't been one case of subframe tearout. That bar is so strong, ASR pairs it with their 24mm bar!

In terms of oversteer with a big rear sway, a somewhat experienced driver mixed with some all right tires would prevent the rear from breaking loose.

nope.

just order the d-brackets and bushings that come as a set. THat will guarantee that they will match. The universal kit is best and order the 22mm size.

Comptech sells them and so does ES bushings. Same stuff.
