Pretty sure the OP is referring to the mount that the D-bracket is attached to. I've never seen those before (don't look like Beaks) but I wouldn't trust much of anything short of the ASR rear brace on an EK subframe to prevent a big swaybar from ripping the subframe to shreds.

Is the risk you're referring to the risk of tearing the sub frame (pretty much nil when an ASR bar is used), or risk of the car losing control due to the stiffer rear sway bar? If the latter, that's not really a valuable argument as ITR's came stock with that bar, which is a street car. In nearly 6 years of having my ITR rear bar, the rear end of my car has only stepped out once when I didn't want it to, and that was on an autox course. You would at least hope someone who installs a larger rear bar would have enough sense to be careful to maintain control of the car.

In terms of oversteer with a big rear sway, a somewhat experienced driver mixed with some all right tires would prevent the rear from breaking loose.
