The honda service manuel is hard to tell exactly what to pull on what not to pull.

I want to bypass coolent to my intake manifold -- will this also bypass the water inlet pipe -- the **** is leaking at the clamp onto the heater core. Is this even possible?

The water inlet pipe goes left to right under the intake manifold and connects to a black box (assumes heater core) -- leaking above oil pan -- don't want to remove drive axle to replace. What could be my options anyway?
