Default 94 GSR, What type of camber kit to get?

I am trying to do research on a camber kit. From what I read in the other post, Skunk2 and the Ingalls/Comptech are the ones to choose from. I don't do any auto X crossing, I just wanna stop buying new tires every year. I raised my car up as you can see in the picture, it's not too low. How will I know if the ingalls/comptech will be right for me. Will it be too much even if I get the 1.75 degree? Or will the skunk2 work better cuz of the adjustability?

TIA

You shouldn't need a camber kit if you get the toe-in adjusted exactly and rotate tires frequently. I'm about the same height as you and after 12K miles my tires are still perfectly even (about -2.2 deg. camber all around).

I'm w/ patrick on this one (based on my car)... I've had my car lowered w/ Eibach sportlines on Koni yellows and 16" wheels and don't get uneven tire wear.. I have -1.8 - 2.1 deg camber but I get an alignment and keep my toe in check (I got a lifetime alignment plan) and rotate my tires whenever I do an oil change (every 3K).. I don't get any bad wear on my tires as long as the toe is good...

btw Patrick did you paint your 94-95 GSR rims black? or is it the photo/lighting?

Nice, how much is a lifetime alignment plan cost??? Also, how often do you get it done?

i bought it a few years ago it was around $100.. they raised the price to about $149 now for lifetime 4 wheel alignment... it was at discount tire centers.. they have NEVER given me $hit about camber kit, and not wanting to do an alignment when I didn't buy tires, camber kit, suspension, and have it installed by them until last time.. the dumbass grease monkey counter boy thought he'd be a smartass and tell me that he was going to void my alignment plan because my car had a modded suspension..

I got pissed off because they SOLD me the damn alignment plan when my car was already lowered... and he did some other stupid **** like ask me for $60 apparently as a joke... I called headquarters and spoke w/ the district manager...

It took 45k miles before uneven wear started to show on my Toyo FZ4's (205/50R-15), but the uneven wear is very noticeable. The inner tread blocks are down to the tread wear indicator, while the outer indicators have another 1/16" before the tread blocks hit them. Same thing on all four tires, despite rotating them every 15k miles.

Camber wasn't more than 1.5 degrees the last time I had it aligned 10k miles ago.

Contact some of these people:

They have had mixed results from the Skunk2.

well you should rotate at least every 5K miles on any car, more often if the car is lowered. And a difference of 1/16" depth between the inner and outer blocks is hardly excessive wear. When the inner edge is bald, but the outer edge looks new, THEN you should be worried about it.

BTW my wheels are gunmetal.
