Default Brake lamp indicator?

The Brake lamp on my dash has been on for a while now and it hasn't bothered me, but now that I am possibly selling my accord its kind of a hinder. I have full brake fluid, no burnt out taillights (even with headlights on), and my parking brake isn't engaged. Besides the "light switch" located under the dash, what other else could it be?

What year / model Accord is this?

Is this the "brake" warning lamp at the top of the cluster, or is it the "brake" warning in the lamp warning display on the bottom?

Sorry I forgot I took my car outta my sig.

Its a 95 LX and the brake light at the top of the cluster (one that comes on when you set the parking brake or have burnt out brake light)

ABS (yes, the LX came with ABS for 1995)
I'd first revisit the brake fluid reservoir cap level sensor. Look for loose/damaged connector.

Your button that engages the e-brake dash light might be sticking under your center console.. That same thing happened to me and all I did was pop off the bottom piece inside of the center console. You should be able to see the switch and wires right there.

Sorry, non-abs. My boss was talking about the fluid reservoir cap level sensor and told me to look for broke/loose connections but I kind of ignored his advice and thought it was something else. me for thinking I was smarter than him lol.

jwice-the bulb gets brighter when I do pull the ebrake, did it do the same for you? Otherwise I dont think the bulb would illuminate more if it was stuck, as when I pull it more current flows to the light, but thats my .02

I have the brake light indicator light up under the car symbol on my gauge cluster. It only turns on once I have pressed the brake once and then it stays lite until I turn the car off again. I have a 2001 Accord. What could it possibly be?

CLOSE! Honda has a TSB out for this concern, The float inside the reservoir is sticking. The fix is to replace the float and filter. Less than 10 bucks at the Honda dealer. A lot of techs are replacing the whole cap! Thats fixing them too.

Does the car have remote start or turbo timer installed?
