act clutch kit vs f1 racing clutch kit
how is the f1 stage 2 with flywheel compared if I want to buy the HDSS from act???
cuz there's alot of people saying that the f1 stage 2 with flywheel is a good combination, but those are ebay clutches, so I am afraid they are garbage (like 75% of ebay stuff)
I mean both of them will run me 500 dollars, but one includes the pilot/throwout bearing and a flywheel
vs the act in which is only the disk and pressure plate....
my s2k is not a daily drive.....just a weekend car
I want something that will be better than oem clutch, and it has to be in the 600 dollar range including release/pilot bearing....
thx in advance

They're both garbage. I've always really hated ACT's stuff. The F1 just seems like ebay trash.
What's wrong with an Exedy replacement? How much power are you making to need a more agressive clutch?

Check Ebay listings or contact an exedy dealer. There are a couple of exedy dealers around here. One is www.thmotorsports.com.
They are more expensive. But....why cheap out on a clutch of all things?

never liked exedy personally, always had slipping issues with it... kuz of power of course, im sure if i was underpowered it would have been fine.i used a set of that F1 clutches once on a SOHC D series turbo i was making 250ish whp and 230+Ft lbs... held up fine on the street and track...

pretty sure f1 clutches are made by SECO. I bought a "SPEC" stage 3 clutch from someone for my turbo D build, but it turned out not to be a spec clutch. It had no marking on it except a Pressure Plate that was stamped SECO. looks identical to ones found on ebay.
SECO is an OEM clutch manufacturer for many companies.
