Okay, im finally fed up with this car its one thing after another....soo new question tonight i was at burger king parkinglot waiting for my food and i pulled up the ebrake all the way up and when i let go there was a loud poping sound coming from the ebrake handle and it moved down a little.....after that happend i put the ebrake down and pulled it back up again and it felt tight but then had a area where it was sloppy lifting it up then turned tight again......i checked no leaking yet but im waiting for tomarrow.....they are new shoes and drums on the rear along with the fronts....any possible ideas? anyone ever had this? btw the ebrake worked good for about 3 weeks after i got the drums done and for the last month they havent worked good my car would still roll on a hill with the ebrake up if it wasent in gear.....

 

Sounds like the wheel cylinders are sticking. It's common if their old.

Also, adjust your Parking brake. At the base of the handle, remove the plastic, there is an adjustment that will tighten it up.
