Looong Cold Start -- Gas smell?
I've been having some issues lately with my '90 accord.
With the weather being cold, it's been taking a LONG time to start the car. I think it took 10-15 seconds to start at work tonight. And after a minute or so of starting the car, there's a faint but definite gas smell (comes out of the vents I'm assuming when I turn the heat on). After 5 minutes or so the smell goes away.
Every once in awhile when it's cold and it takes awhile to start the check engine light will also come on. But during the day when it's either warmer or I've recently started the car, I never have either of these issues.
Any ideas? I'll probably be getting a new car soon, so I just want to make this one last long enough.

Not only could this injector be leaking externally (causing the fuel odor) but it could also be contributing to a partial flooded condition AND a depressurized fuel rail; both of which contribute to the extended / difficult start proceedure.

Thanks for the quick response.
Is this something that requires immediate attention? It's been happening for awhile now, and like I said, I'm just trying to get my car to last a bit longer.
