What do you guys think of this 97' on Ebay.
I'm looking into it as I'm always looking at used CW R's since CW OWNZZZ and I'd love to eventually sell the Si and buy an ITR . I also know that there are many people on this board whom of which also are looking and thats why I'm posting this. Anyway, I came upon this on ebay and it looks super clean but I'm not sure how much I like the mods on it. what do you guys think. I have sent the guy an email because judging by the pictures, he hasn't mentioned everything such as the JDM 4-1, wierd ghetto intake, ect. anyway check it out. Looks very nice and only 17,000 Buy it now with 24,000 miles

I just got my county tax assessement for my 97 ITR in Alexandria.
They valued it at $12,125 ... whatever.
That one does seem to have relatively low miles (and the county has no idea how many I have on mine).

That is a rare find (clean 97), and also very low mileage. You may have found the car for you.. But I would (if possible) try to go and take a look at it before bidding. I am just hesitant about buying anything sight (in person) unseen. I flew out of state to see the one I eventually bought, and it was very much worth it (as I ended up getting him down $2,100 off of his asking price). Let us know how it goes.
Tough call, but I, personally, would pass on it and look for an untouched R.
I dunno, the mods just give off a bad vibe.... 23k beat up miles possibly.

you want a ITR that hasnt been beat on? buy a new one...
otherwise suck it up, do the standard run around tests and buy it if it comes out with a bill of good health. engine rebuilds are not as expensive now these days.
