JDM ITR Master Cylinder and Booster Installed - Eg Hatch
Hello all,
In preparation for my GSR brake swap, I installed a JDM ITR MC & booster. For all who are wondering, it is a very straightforward swap. Because it is a JDM unit, the ports are almost perfectly aligned. I did have to bend the lines slightly, but this was no big deal. I also used a 98+ MC which has the same fitting sizes as Eg Civics, so there was no need for adapters or flaring of the lines.
I used the write-up from the FAQ's. Honestly, it seemed easier than the write-up.
JDM MC, Booster, and 40/40 Proportioning Valve

Stock Setup

Booster Installed and Prop valve removed.

MC, Booster, and Prop valve Installed

After cleaning up and driving the car, I noticed a big difference in pedal feel and stopping power. Granted, this is with the stock Civic brakes and drum rear. I am doing my GSR brake swap this weekend so the entire setup should be pretty sweet.
After I am completely finished I will do a full write-up.

Thanks,
I also forgot to mention. I bought the MC & Booster from http://www.japanesestarmotor.com/.
The guy is really cool. I got it for $60 since I bought my swap from him. He said they are usually $100. That is still much cheaper than ebay.
Enjoy!
