Is it possible to put rear seats in CRXs? I got a DA right now, but im selling it. I was looking into a CRX. I've been searching and found nothing on it. Thanks in advance.

crx's in new zealand had rear seats, as well as germany, japan, ireland etc

so can it be done? yes

is it legal to add seats to a car that never came with rear seats? not as far as i know

is it technically safe to sit in the back? assuming you use all the proper mounting brackets and the belts are properly harnessed to the body, yes.

can the average north american fit in the rear? no, not really

is it really safe to sit in the rear of a crx in the even of an accident? no

well you can, but the original ones go for 3 to 5 hundred bux. they usually sell them in e-bay. they ARE pretty small tho. but if you want to just put some other seats, anything is possible. try jdmcarboy.com and call them. when i wanted the seats, they said they could get them but for the money alone on the seats, they said that they could custom put other seats of you liking, just something to think about.

JDM rear seats FTW.
I had a buddy with one, It looks clean. It should come with seatbelts also.

Now if only the JDM CRX sunroof was a basic bolt-on.

 

They look badass, but unless you're mad short it'd be a pain in the *** to sit back there.

 

i'm 5'8'' and i fit in the back. it's just not comfortable when you start hitting bumps.
