Icon6 Manual Trans questions

1) Will a 94-97 Accord man tran fit a 91 Accord man tran?
I assume that it will as the engine block, axles and clutch are the same but we all know what happens when we *** U ME.

2) Is the gear ratio for 5th gear HIGHER in the 94-97?
I'm hoping to increase my highway MPG. I have a 91 wagon, a customer of mine has a 94, both MT. She gets 10MPG better than mine at cruising speed. I'm jealous

I have a 91 Accord official repair manual that might have the ratio spec's. If anyone out there has the 94-97 manual please let me know.

The transmissions are interchangable. But you prob. won't get better mpg due to the fact that your car, a wagon, is a lot hevier.

I'm trying to find gear ratio spec's to confirm my suspicions. Thanx for the reply.
