Im thinking about a staging brake for next year so I would like to see how everyone is setting theirs up. Also, would a staging brake be ok for street driving? I drive my car alot on the street so I just want to know your opinions on it. Thanks guys

Yeah thats what I have been using but it doesnt hold for ****. Ive replaced the pads and rotors and everytime I go to the track after 3 passes I can pull it up so its vertical. I adjust before i go to the track. I just get tired of having to pull my center console out everytime I run the car. I used to daily drive it but I realized how much its wearing the motor out 4 months after i built it. So it will see the street on the weekends only.

 

how much power are you making, what gear are you using to do burnout?

 

Last year i was making 260hp but this year im going for just over 300hp. Ive been doing 2nd gear burnouts on 24x9x15 M&H's. Do you think mabye the cable are worn out?

 

Sounds a bit like the cables are stretching? How far along on the adjustment are you?

 

I adjust it alot. the car has 112k on it and i got it at 60k. I doubt they were replaced before I got it.
