Default rear mugen strut bar

does anyone have this on their car? could you show a pic of it and how you cut the body panels? thanks

my bar end pieces don't look like that, and the one end is adjustable. do i have the 1st gen model? and what did you use ot cut the panels? thanks again

I think you have the first gen bar. Mine is about a year old. I used the templates that came with it. Id call or Email King to get a copy of the template.

I used a small saw and a dremel tool. I drilled the corners of my template when it was on the plastic, then used a dremel bit to cut straight down and along the lines of the template. It was pretty easy.

Yes, yours is gen1 as Megatron said. gen1 is ok on DC2... however, gen1 kicks major a$$ on EG and EK, as you can utilize 4 mounting pts per side.

that rubber material comes with mugen strut bars. i have some extra of that stuff, you want it han? i'll bring it when we have the itr meet up in bc.

you can just go to suto zone or pep boys and get the rubber strip that goes along the door edges.

thanks for the encouragement guys, i already put the front mugen bar on and it is solid, but now i feel more understeer, well time for bigger sway too.

Most definitely... I did the same thing, Mugen front bar with every suspension part stock (40 psi front, 39psi in the back) at the autoX and it plowed like a pig!

So, I put back OEM ITR front strut bar + Mugen rear bar and it allows for better balance and ready throttle lift oversteer with right condition. Ultimately, Mugen sway bars 24mm (or even JDM 23 (?) mm rear sway) would be the best with Mugen strut bars, IMO.

mugen 26mm . on my want list, which grows buy the day cause i have no $$$ for mods. still spending my $$$ on HPDE's
