i was just wondering if anyone knew of a place who sells replacement fenders for a crx at a decent price... it doesnt matter i look they are all crazy expensive for some reason. i dont understand why crx fenders are about twice as much as any other honda fender.

 

because the car is that damn good. lol. i asked a local shop awhile ago and the cheapest they had was 150 they said because it was only around for 4 years. but then again the HB and 4door versions were only around for the same time yet cost around 100 new. we are just that rare, is all i can think of.

another thing it seems is that you can find a ton of used pass side fenders but never able to find any drivers side.. i would definetly by a fender for $128 shipped but i need a drivers side and for no damn reason they are twice as much!

 

and on carpartswholesales website they are selling the drivers side for $204 shipped and then theyre selling it for $260 shipped on ebay, ****.

 

so we meet again ............still looking u can buy the jdm fenders from h motors for that price and yes i know they are the same im just sying they are really scarce here in missouri

 

im looking for a new fender... i emailed carpartswholesale and asked why they sell a pass side fender for $128 shipped and then they sell the drivers side for $260 shipped and this is what they said.

LMAO WTF!!!! i dont give a **** about capa certified whatever the hell that is.. and definetly not paying for it to be certified. so now i asked if they sell any driver side fenders that arent capa certified like the pass side ones LOL

 

and of course they dont sell non-capa certified drivers side fenders only passenger side ones.. they are so full of ****

 

so no one has ever bought a new erplacement fender before???? if so, then where did you buy it?

 

i would look for an oem fender instead of aftermarket. cause even though they are used theyre still a little stronger than certi fit or whatever. plus you can buy at a cheaper price.


i got hit and run and a found an oem fender for $35. no dents or scratch or rust.

 

if its that easy find me one that is mint and not $200.

 

thats funny because when i was looking for a passenger side one i couldnt find one for the longest time locally, i got two extra drivers side ones but im i bit far from ya.

 

i forget but i think i paid 300 picked up at passwordjdm. fitment is A+.

 

thats way too much because a brand new oem from honda is $170 + shipping.

don't buy an ebay fender. I did and it is an aweful fit. I wish I remember the brand or sellers name but it was really bad. It wasn't cheap either!

Man dont buy the passwordjdm fenders. I got some and they fit like crap, my corner lenses didnt fit, the edges were all rolled, the bolt holes didnt line up, and there was a crease in one of em. I know aftermarkets usually need some fitting and what not, but damn password. They wanted me to take pictures and send to em to show the damage. even though they said fenders fit perfect and are super boxed for shipping. I do paint and bodywork for a living, so go to a bodyshop and see how much a aftermarket will cost ya from them or try to get some originals.
