Irwindale is every thursad night. its right off the 605 freeway just north of the 10 freeway.

Pomona and fontana both have their websites that you can see their schedule on.

BTW if you do go to irwindale try to get there before 6pm that way you can get a few runs in.

Goodluck

Watch Speed Scene Live on the net at www.SpeedSceneRacing.com
Its free and if you go to the archives page right now, you will see footage from Irwindale.
You will also start to learn about the places to race.

Every Thursday night you can race 1/8th at Irwindale.
Go to california dragway.com site for Fontana info.

You can also take it to bakersfield, (about 3 hour tow)
Vegas, (about 3 1/2 tow)
or Barona, down by San Diego (about 1 1/2 tow)

$20. Well worth it, if you get there early you can get atleast 5 passes.

LOL dude this is not the 90's anymore LOL POMONA has no street legals anymore.

They are only open twice in the year and that is for the NHRA Powerade series.

Diddn't Fontana just change there rules to basically kick out slicks? I thought I read that a few weeks ago but never looked into it.

Out of all the places I have lived SoCal gets the shaft when it comes to Drag Racing...

Fontana street legals has changed the rules, but you can still race at Summit race, SCEDA, PSCA, Fun Fords, all kinds of stuff. Dont be so close minded and think that you can only race on the street legal race. The street legals race is probably the least desirable of all the events.

yea definately fontana sucks im down the street from there and that no slicks rule definately blows. irwindale is cool but its an 1/8th mile. pomona shut us out since like 01-02 around that time. so that sucks aswell the only track that is really hard core similar to LACR(rip) is famoso in bakersfield its a badass track but its a drive! your best bet is irwindale since your in the OC. hopefully the BROTHERHOOD track dream would be realized that would the ultimate track in the grated LA area..

i-5 exit highway 78 thru escondido, it's 42 miles inland from the beach... bring a good map, it's easy to get lost.

I just got back from Irwindale, it was awesome. They stopped selling tech cards at 7:30 or so, 300+ cars. Erick Aguilar was there, ran 5.75 @127.?

Everything in or around SD is now an 1/8 mile, RIP Carlsbad Raceway your still missed. Anyways 1/8 is not much fun without slickos cuz u will b getting beat by allmotor POS cars.... but if you dont yet SDPD's drag net(anti streetracing department) has been shut down due to funding , just take to the streets again its more fun anyways ,and cheaper.
