Default 92 Accord door won't unlock. Cold?

Fixing to have to get up tomorrow and explain to my workplace that I can't get into my car. It is currently moderately frozen over but I have freed most of the door (edges and handles, particularly) and can turn the locks easily. The problem is that the unlocking mechanism was clearly an electrical one and right now it is apparently not working. The car is not dead. I can see the radio blinking its light on the inside. Plus I just got through giving it a brand spanking new battery, per a discovery made at the repair shop about my old battery. It is tempting to suppose that the cold weather is somehow responsible, but what I need is a solution. ;p Any takers? (Also might help if I could recall which way to turn the lock in order to unlock it. It's not something I ever thought about before, but now I can't seem to remember for certain.)
