will a 17x8.5in wheel fit the wheel well of a 4 door? im getting skunk 2 pro street coilovers too so i was just wondering if anyone had any input on the matter. and the offset will probly be +35 or +38. with 235/45/17 or 245/45/17 falken azenas

 

it can but i'm not sure if it will with that tire size.

You can stretch a 225 tire.

 

yeah i might do that. a lot of my friends drive 240s with crazy streched tires lol

 

i have 225 on stock rims and they're flush with the rim.
i dont think u can stretch a 225 another inch to the 17x8.5 as the op was saying

I think Nerdrum's stretching 215's on 8.5. I don't think 225 would be a problem.

 

I don't think azenis come in sidewalls less than 45 for a 17 in diameter wheel.

 

the 235s come in a 40 in 17s

they actually make a 250/40/17 too... some wide tires... if you goto jhpusa.com they have some really good deals on all kinds of parts. including oem honda and mugen parts

 

thats where i got my falkens from. they have bomb prices on tires.
i got 4 falken ziex tires in 225 45 17 for 95 a piece plus tax and it was like 411.xx. and i paid 30 bucks to mount and balance them. america's tire wanted 568 for all 4 mounted and balanced. they can kick rocks.

 

yeah man i love em. u pay like 150 for shipping max lol and everythings priced pretty cheap. so im buying my coilovers wheels tires camber kit and sway bar at the same time lol and saving a ton of money on parts and shipping lol

 

lol its almost 1am here and me and my friend just put his new bottom end and the rest of his other motor back together for his eg hatch and its soo freaking loud and hes messing with timing and his cars right next to his nabors window in the front yard lol

 

well fortunately for me, i live close enough to them that i can just go and drive to pick up my parts. hopefully they come through with my rims this friday so i can go ahead and get my lug nuts and dismantle my front end.

lol yeah well let me know when you post pics. and if you get what i think your getting for your front end i hate you lol. and if you got wheels off of jhp theres only a few i can think of that you wouldnt talk until you had them on. i was getting the cr kais but i changed my mind and im getting some differnet wheels off there and i cant wait, just gotta save up some more cash for a week or 2. do you have a 2 or 4 door?
