Icon2 ef air conditioners

so, it's about that time again for hot weather.

i have a ef with a converted to R-134 compressor n all.
but the aftermarket pump is shaped differently, causing the belt to rub and eventually break. is there any pumps out there that anyone would recommend as a replacement.
thanks.

i felt like **** the other day, so i thought spinning doughnuts in the mud would make me feel better.. and it did.
wires are messy as s#!t

i hope these help.
sorry i couldn't get better pics.

...I'm pretty sure I've seen OEM spec compressors available, but you could also look for a used one.

why not take the belt to autozone and tell them you need something an inch shorter.

i haven't done any of these things because i really don't want to **** anything up.
so 1: use a hammer to make clearance for the belt.
2: auto zone for shorter belt.

any other recommendations?

find out which compressor u have and get the belt for it. efs were made with two different compressors and both of the belts were different also, i try to swap my belt and bought the wrong one, it was much to big.

Not really enough information in your post to give a good recommendatio.
Where does it rub?
What do you mean by aftermarket pump?
What do you mean by different shape?
Is this a Honda AC or an aftermarket?
If it's a Honda setup, do you know which compressor (pump) you have now vs what the car is supposed to have?
Who replaced the pump and did the R134A conversion?
Is the engine still a D15/16?
Got pictures?

sorry for lack of info. i'm uploading pics right now.
i feel like such a tool for just asking questions w/o the answers.
i don't know what pump it is. all i know, is that the ac came like this when i purchased it. all i want to do is fix it before it gets hot.
i'm pretty sure the pump is aftermarket. i can't really see where it rubs (the previous owner just told me it rubs and breaks {i've never actually tried replacing the belt})
the engine is D15.

^^!!

As far as the compressor, I don't think they swap it out when they put in the different refrigerant. From what I understand, a full conversion contains new O-rings for each connection, adapters for inlets to the pipes, and a new dryer/filter. The idea is to clear out all the gasses and then do the best you can to get the lubricant out as well.

o, i know about the hose. i just don't know where to start.
i know that once i replace that hose, i have to do something about cleaning the system.
! since that broken piece has been like that for so long, will all that dust and dirt eff up my pump?!
